Last Sunday, July 19, Cyril and I thought of watching The Dark Knight .  At first I was hesitant because Cyril was sick for four days and I want him to rest.  He said he was already okay and would also want to see the movie.  So we went to SM Clark and had our lunch at Shakey’s first while waiting for 1:15 PM (The Dark Knight’s next show time on Cinema 1), since we came there at around 11:30AM.  I sent an SMS to my brother and informed him about the next show time.

After eating we went into the cinema and waited for Dex and Jacky to arrive.  We were just in time for the movie and  were all very excited.  After patiently waiting for 15 minutes, alas, the movie has started.

I can say that The Dark Knight was phenomenal.  Although the film is long, running for 2 hours and 35 minutes, Cyril and I wanted it to be longer.  We enjoyed the pulse-pounding suspense in the movie.

The characters were all played very well by the casts.  The late Heath Ledger portrayed The Joker as a driven insane, most evil, bluntly psychotic.  He did a very good job in performing the character of the deranged villain, The Joker .

I also loved the Batpod which is the updated version of the Batcycle .   It is shoulder-driven, has hugewheels and hidden guns. The visual-effects were amazing.  It looked like it was really happening on the streets.

I guess if you guys haven’t seen the movie yet, better watch it so you could experience the new world of Batman .  I also recommend repeat viewing for those who have already watched the film.  Indeed, The Dark Knight exceeded our expectations!  Two thumbs up for the cast and crew of the film!

   Actually, I have to agree. The movie is definitely awesome. But, shame that the villain (joker) committed suicide

   Though.. Thank god it was after the movie was completed !
