It’s been a week since PisoBid launched their website and made a big impact on the Philippine internet scene. The site created a big buzz on social networks, people were in awe on how low one could get to purchase the items on auction. Prompting a number of people to doubt the legitimacy of the site and if the winning bidder really was able to get the item they’ve won.
All in all there are already 51 items auctioned out by PisoBid, ranging from Bid Packs, Load Cards (Globe, Smart and Sun), Gift Certificates (Starbucks, Toby’s, Store Specialists Inc., The Spa and SM), to coll gadgets like, IPhone 4, IPad 2, IPod, Samsung Galaxy Tab, BlackBerry Phone, XBox, Sony PS3, Sony DigiCam, and MacBook Air.
If you’re intrigue on how to join PisoBid, start of by registering here, you’ll be given a starting of 5 bids. How do you get more bids, you need to buy Bid Packs for you to be able to bid more. Bid Packs can be bought through PayPal and LoadCentral ranging from 300 Pesos to 3000 Pesos.
How does PisoBid work, each item that are up for auction starts at 1 Peso, with each bid adds 0.01 centavo to the price of the item. There is a specific time that the auction will end and at the time, the bid war starts, at the end of the auction, each bid on the item extends the timer of for a certain period (ranging from 15, 16 and 20 seconds) up until to the point that the last bidder wins the item without anyone outbidding him when the timer ends. Well as though its live bidding, there’s somewhat a grace period of 3 seconds after the timer goes to 1, “Going…” will be the signal that its the last chance to bid for the item.
For those wanting to join in on the “bidding war” at PisoBid, this is not for the whiners, you need to invest money and time, its not like in live bidding that even if you lost, you won’t be charge for your bid, in PisoBidevery bid you make will be deducted to your bid balance and will not be returned if you lose the item.
Also for the skeptics and those who are still doubting the legitimacy of PisoBid, there are testimonials of winning bidders posted on their site and their PisoBid Facebook page, its up to you to decide, but for us its legit. I also suggest you read the Terms and Conditions of PisoBid before reading so as not to be like some of the people who just registered, bid and then whined on the comments.
For us, will be continuing to join the bidding war and hopefully add up to the MacBook Air that Jen won last June 10, 2011.

Again thanks to PisoBid for the MacBook Air, until the next bidding war.
* Update *
Here’s the video of Jen receiving the MacBook Air from PisoBid:

cool. integrating through facebook. their geniuses.
Reply to WinilaMy bro told me that winning in pisobid depends purely in someone’s luck. I don’t think so. It depends with someone’s strategy and of course, bidding power. more bidding credits, higher chance of winning.
Reply to LanieHmm I think it depends in someone’s luck. My friend won a digital camera using his 5 FREE bids.
As of now, I’m trying my luck again, unfortunately di na ako nanalo
hehehe
Reply to eLfshimmeRPisobid is definitely legit! They have videos of the winners receiving their prices. For sure luck has to do with it but if you are armed with 500 bids or more, there is a big chance of winning the item!
Reply to samiUi! May gumagaya na pala sa Pisobid! No wonder kasi very successful na ang site kahit new pa lang. Mas tumutodo pa yong mga items na for auction nila. I hope mas lalong dumami yung items everyday. Follow my blog for bidding tips! Thanks!
Reply to Mickey JamesI think its called BidangBidders. Parang Wowowee yung pisobid tapos Wiltime Bigtime tong BidangBidders. lol, parehong format, pareho ng style, pareho talaga. Pinopoach nila yung mga bidders ng pisobid. Pinoy talaga.
Reply to WendyEveryone has the chance to win in pisobid. With strategy and patience as their weapon, its not that hard tama? Here’s my insight about Pisobid: Pisobid generates its income from the bidders who buy bidpacks. It became popular soon after its release. Meron din silang stand by na support for the you sa facebook, twitter and email if you have questions and inquiries. And one thing for sure, Pisobid is not a scam.

Read my blog about this one:
Reply to LizaBilibid: Veteran bidders stands tall in this new Piso Auction Site
Pisobid is not a scam. Nagresearch po ako mabuti sa Pisobid. Magjojoin sana ako kaso wala talagang time.
First of all, members should know that this is a business and not a charity organization. Members should play in order to get the item that they want.
As for bots, i really know when there is one. Have you seen the new auction site called bidrepublic.ph? Dito maraming bots. Umaabot hanggang 500 pesos ang price eh tapos ang bilis pa.
Also, Pisobid has been in the online business since May and everyday they are giving lots of items. I think the items they have given has totaled to 2000+.
As for security, Pisobid has been very strict in running the law. They have banned numerous abusers (who are now sucking dry Bilibid) and provided new auction types para fair ang chances ng lahat.
Now you choose.
Reply to Joe d' Mango“It is a fact that Pisobid.com is now one of the coolest site in the Philippines.
My Pisobid experience started out slow (thought it was another scam site). But after I participated in the bidding process(which is pretty exciting), I later understand how it really works.
Since their launch, My interest on Pisobid rocketed all because of their amazingly super discounted items and the excitement that it gives me. For more than a month now, they have auctioned hundreds of products ranging from Smartphones, DSLR Cameras, Macbook, Gift Certificates and more with 40,000+ Facebook followers. Amazing!
For the benefit of those who doesn’t know about this awesome site. Pisobid is just like an auction. Item starts at 1.00 and .01cents will be added up everytime someone bids for the product. The last highest bidder will get the item.
If one has a question about the website (e.g. How to register?, Where to Buy Bidpacks and etc) Pisobid’s customer support are always on stand by to help newcomers for their issues and concerns.
Pisobid has offered their members the excitement of bidding and the chance of getting an amazing shopping opportunity in the convenience of your home!
A little tip for those who want to join Pisobid: Be observant and strategize. Observe the site first and make a strategy before placing your bid. Know the elements of the webpage to avoid wasting your bids. By the way, you will have 5 free bids upon registration. Awesome right?”
Malaki chance dito kasi bago.
Reply to RuthGreat experience with this site. When my friend told me to check the site, I did not bother to look for it. And then I saw an ad on my friends facebook account and automatically “liked” their page. And there it was—-Brand new gadgets 99% lesser than its original price!!! I automatically asked my friend where to get bids and got 100 bids for 1000. However, i only used maybe 20 bids for I have work to do.
Anyways, pretty cool stuffs out there. I wish I had the time to focus on bidding. =( More power pisobid. You are making Filipinos happy!
Reply to mediaPlayed on every penny auction site in the Phils but sa Pisobid lang talaga ako nanalo. Ewan ko ba, sa mga nababasa ko ang PisoBid daw ang pinaka mahirap na penny auction site pero sa tingin ko hindi eh, kasi it only took me 5000 pesos to win my first win sa pisoBid.
Try niyo na rin, budget lang tapos know when to stop. K?
Reply to Champ yon!It takes both skill and luck to win an item from any piso auction site. If you don’t have enough bids, you can always bluff and snipe your way to winning.
It’s just a matter of who you’re competing up against. We hope you guys do check out http://www.Happy2bid.com

Almost 1 month na po yang post nito. You want us to join your site but it is not operational pa pala.
