Memoirs 002
High school life is one of the happiest days of being a student. I bet many of you will agree with me. Compare to Elementary life and College life, High school life is the best.
I have many fond memories during my high school life. I can say that for the four years I spent in high school I had many wonderful experiences. I also met my best friends here – Mylyn and Hazel. They are the best girl friends ever. I love them both. Of course, I won’t forget these wonderful people: Ruby, Ethel, Jugs, Jean, Lou, Lejan and Aaron. Most of them have their own families already, some of them are my kumares and kumpadres , but we still manage to keep in touch every now and then but with Lejan I haven’t seen him since we graduated. Last news I’ve heard is that he is already in the United States. I miss this guy a lot especially his jokes.
High school life is really different. I remember to have a crush then and we used to hang out in the corridor and wait for him to pass by. Not to mention Ruby who always ask me to come with her just to look for her crush. When I think of those days, I can’t help but laugh. I gained lots of friends and also have enemies. >:)
Let me talk about my school. Studying in Holy Family Academy , a Catholic private school, I learned a lot of things about life, values, Christianity etc. Our school follows a Benedictine tradition and it is managed by Benedictine Sisters. Who will forget Sister Berna? She is one of the people I look up to when I was in high school . I also remember Ginang Nuqui, our Assistant Principal then who is known to be strict especially to those who don’t have IDs and for those students who are always late. Lol Holy Family – High school department was relocated in Cutcut. And I won’t forget the smell of the piggery and poultry near our school. De Paolo’s delicious chicken croquette is one of the favorite foods of the students.
There are lots of things to talk about my life in high school. I just wish that our batch will have a reunion sooner or later.
It’s so nice to reminisce all of these and for sure I will remember and treasure these things for a lifetime.
