CyJen - Odds and Ends

It is the first week of September and the start of -BER months and it only means one thing for Pinoys…it marks the beginning of the Christmas season . It’s the last quarter of the year and soon we will bid 2008 goodbye and say hello to 2009. Whoa! Time really flies so fast. You won’t even notice it. (Right?)

Here in the Philippines , when the first day of the month of September begins, you will start to hear Christmas songs play on the radio, in the mall or even at home  and children start to sing Christmas carols.  It is the beginning of the long Christmas season here in the Philippines .  Others start to buy Christmas decors and start putting their Christmas trees at home.

Memoirs 004

Last Sunday, July 19, Cyril and I thought of watching The Dark Knight .  At first I was hesitant because Cyril was sick for four days and I want him to rest.  He said he was already okay and would also want to see the movie.  So we went to SM Clark and had our lunch at Shakey’s first while waiting for 1:15 PM (The Dark Knight’s next show time on Cinema 1), since we came there at around 11:30AM.  I sent an SMS to my brother and informed him about the next show time.
