It is the first week of September and the start of -BER months and it only means one thing for Pinoys…it marks the beginning of the Christmas season . It’s the last quarter of the year and soon we will bid 2008 goodbye and say hello to 2009. Whoa! Time really flies so fast. You won’t even notice it. (Right?)

Here in the Philippines , when the first day of the month of September begins, you will start to hear Christmas songs play on the radio, in the mall or even at home  and children start to sing Christmas carols.  It is the beginning of the long Christmas season here in the Philippines .  Others start to buy Christmas decors and start putting their Christmas trees at home.

Who wouldn’t want to have a surprise thrown for anyone celebrating their birthday!  Jen, never did cease to amaze me in conjuring surprises.  Though last year’s was a little "unsurprising".  Hehehehe!

This time, it caught me off guard and did not expect the surprise that they had planned.

Jen contacted my relatives in Bulacan and told them that she was planning a surprise birthday party.  She also told barkada from Tantra whom I haven’t been able to see for quite some time.  I did have a hunch that Jen’s up to something but it never occured to me that it would be that big.  My only plan was to go home on my birthday and drink ’til you drop, which of course happened.  The surprise that came with though was really unexpected.

Ever thought of holding a surprise birthday party for someone close to you?  I did and I always do.  I love giving surprises to the people close to my heart.   Last Saturday, July 05, 2008 I threw a surprise birthday party for Cyril.
