August 30, 2008, an estimate of 60,000 fans, all for the love of the Eraserheads, waited for hours at the The Fort Bonifacio Open Field just to be able to watch the bands reunion concert.

If you were not able to watch the concert live on last Aug. 30, you might as well not miss the Eraserheads Reunion Concert The Movie .  Smart Buddy and Sony BMG, will be presenting a 35 millimeter full length movie of the said concert.  The movie will be shown simultaneously in theaters in Metro Manila and Cebu starting Wednesday, November 26.

The movie captures the highlights of the biggest concert ever, state of the art sounds and lights, magnificent fireworks display, Eraserheads hits performed on stage and the different faces and emotions of fans that were at the concert.  It was not just a reunion concert, the event healed the rift among the four members of the band.  Ely Buendia, Raimund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala and Marcus Adoro.

Since we were not able to attend the concert last August 30, I just had to have this album.  I was only able to buy the album last sunday, after going to more than 10 different music stores.  Every single one of the stores sold out the album.

Listening to it still gives me goosebumps… Its as if I was still at the concert… waiting for the continuation of the cut-short concert… more… more… more…

September 5, 2008 is the start of the San Miguel Beer Oktoberfest Siento Bente (120) with Third Eye Blind opening things up.

120 days celebration of the annual San Miguel Beer Oktoberfest, the biggest and grandest and long running fiesta of friends and barkada in the Philippines.  The annual festival is now officially recognized by the Department of Tourism.
