Blood is needed for emergencies and for people who have cancer, blood disorders, sickle cell , anemia and other illnesses. Some people need regular blood transfusions to live.
Imagine if giving blood was part of everyone’s life. Something you did on a regular basis, like eating at your favorite restaurant. What kind of difference would that make? For people who receive blood transfusions, your donation can make the difference between life and death.
L eukemia is a cancer of the bone marrow and blood. It is characterized by the uncontrolled accumulation of blood cells. Master Rapper Francis "Kiko" Magalona has been diagnosed of this disease last August 08, 2008. He needs blood for his regular blood transfusion.
Sir Kiko is in need of blood donors especially O type and platelets are also accepted.
Donations may be made at the lower ground level of The Medical City in the name of Francis Magalona . The Medical City is located along Ortigas Avenue in Pasig City.
You can also go to the Philippine National Red Cross for blood and platelets donations in the name of Sir Kiko .
It doesn’t take much to help save a life! Just an hour or so out of your day could mean a lifetime to someone.
