Good news to all students who took the University of Santo Tomas Entrance Test (USTET). We are happy to inform you that the results are already posted online. You can go to the UST admission results page. Be ready with your applicant number because you are required to put your applicant number and surname.
Here are the general requirements of UST Admission Office:
- Please bring USTET Permit / Result Form for identification purposes.
- During the confirmation of enrolment, please submit the following requirements:
- Original copy of Form 138 (High School Report Card);
- Two (2) certificates of Good Moral Character from principal and guidance counselor or class adviser;
- Two (2) pcs. 2″ x 2″ pictures;
- Original copy of verified Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) for Resident or Immigrant aliens; passport/student visa for non-resident aliens.
- Failure to submit the requirements will mean forfeiture of your enrolment slot.
STATUS OF APPLICATION
Passed
Applicant has met the required cut-off scores of the program of his/her choice. He/She is therefore advised to confirm intention to enrol on the report dates indicated.
For Interview
Applicant is qualified for interview as an additional requirement for the program of his/her choice.
He/She is advised to read instructions found in his/her USTET result form or posted in the web.
On Waiting List
Although applicant met the required cut-off scores on the program of his/her choice, he/she cannot be accomodated immediately because of quota limitation.
Thus, he/she can be considered only if slots are still available after those who have higher scores have confirmed.
Did not Qualify
Applicant failed to meet the required cut-off scores of the program of his/her choice.
Academic Placement
Applicant did not meet the required cut-off scores of the programs of his/her choice. However, his/her scores meet the minimum cut-off scores set by the University. Thus, he/she may be considered in the other programs that still have slots.
Letran College Invitation / Letran Qualified
Applicant has scores that qualify him/her to enrol in Colegio de San Juan de Letran, a sister school of UST, also founded and run by Dominican Fathers.
He/She is advised to read instructions found in his/her USTET results form or posted in the web.

” You may only select two programs(courses) from the list below until March 14, 2009. You need not go to OFAD for the print-out of the programs. However, OFAD will entertain personal queries on Tuesdays and Thursdays from February 3, 2009 to March 12, 2009.
Your score qualifies you also to enrol at the COLEGIO DE SAN JUAN DE LETRAN, a sister school of UST, also founded and run by the Dominican fathers. LETRAN will entertain reservation for enrolment on a “FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS” starting April 13 to 20, 2009. Please contact Letran Admissions Office at 527-9730 or call 527-76-93 to 97 local 56.”

Reply to ron michaelhi po! the way i understand it, you didn’t meet the required cut-off scores of the course of your choice. kaya you didn’t pass. BUT your scores met the minimum cut-off required. kaya nasa academic placement status ka.
May 2 choices ka:
1) you can still enrol to UST pero you have to select 2 courses from the list they gave you.
2) your score qualifies you to enrol to Colegio de San Juan de Letran.
Syempre, may mga cut-off dates para sa 2 choices na yan/

I will be taking up BS Biochem (Report date on Apr. 24, with submitted letter of intent before said date). If I choose to study to letran, can i still get the program that i failed in UST?
Are the “Letran qualified” still requires to take the entrance exam for the said school?
If I choose my academic placement, is it possible to shift to the program which i failed to get at first(accountancy)?

Hi. Just want to ask. I got this Academic Placement thing as a result from my USTET. I can’t really understand, malaki ba ang posibilidad na ma admit ako sa school even though Academic Placement lang ako? O mahina pa din? Kasi diba if you choose 2 programs, pupunta ka pa sa school para malaman kung for interview ka pa.. Edi hindi din sure na for interview ka kapag pumili ka ng 2 offered courses? Pasensya na..
