Cyril and I attended the Wedding Expo (WEPS08’s) held at the PICC Forum last September 6, Saturday. It’s a two-day event of a grand display of anything and everything related to wedding. It’s our first time to attend a bridal fair (we weren’t able to attend the bridal fair last month at The Lakeshore) and I can say that it was a great experience.
There were so many wedding booths featuring their wedding products like gowns, cakes, invites, give-aways, photo and video packages, coordinations etc. The wedding suppliers even provided bags, brochures and leaflets for soon-to-weds. We went around the PICC Forum and just grabbed brochures from different suppliers for us to have an idea about their packages, prices and discounts.
We got our first bag of brochures, magazines and an “Everything I Need” CD with Minus One from Themes and Motifs. I was like overwhelmed with what I saw at the exhibit. Everything is organized from the registration to the suppliers which are organized per category, convenient for the soon-to-weds. There is also a grand food tasting session featuring the best wedding cuisine, most elegant food sampling and grandest banquet set-ups from the country’s top caterers like Center Table Catering, Josiah’s Catering and Juan Carlo The Caterer.
There were raffles every hour and exhibitors offer more freebies with their packages when you book them at the expo. We got to book our invites from Paperflair by Adworksgrfx and our wedding rings from Goldenhills Jewelry. :)
We left the expo at around 3:00pm and had our late lunch at Gerry’s Grill Blue Wave Branch in Macapagal Avenue. We headed to the Great Mall of China (former Neo Chinatown Mall) to buy shirts from FMCC. We went home tired but happy because we had an accomplished Saturday.
